Ok i figured since ive managed to find a beta code for champions online and since you guys know your mmo's i'd make a thread about the game.
i'll update with more info once ive had chance to play around with the character creator and stuff later today, the beta opens to all who have codes at around 6pm.
oh and if your fast and theres still some codes left try here for a beta code : http://www.canardpc.com/concours/champions/ i got mine from there, just select the second answer and give em your email address and if it worked you'll get a bravo! answer then check your email and then go enter the code into the champions site and on fileplanet(ign sponsored the beta so you gotta download from there)
since its a beta and we dont get to keep characters im gonna make a jokey one and im probably gonna make his nemesis something dumb like a lil kid or teddy bear lol

cool, well after hours of not being able to even finish the atches due to server issues i finally got into the game earlier today and made my hero whome i named Johney Armageddon since i figured thats a suitable name for a bounty hunter who will stop at nothing to track his prey.
i have a screenshot of him somewhere that i'll try to upload to the forums later if your interested in what he looks like? (it even has a comic cover background to it which is pretty cool imo) If it bleeds we can kill it, if not then we can die trying.
ok still working on getting the pictures up on here but i can tell you that it's 1000 times more fun than City of Heroes and although its not without its glitches(it is a beta of a new game afterall) it's a really nice game to play or just make heroes for.
my main character is currently lvl 12 and is a custom build with the mini gun powers of a power armoured hero and the chain lightning powers of an electric user(ive been mainly using the electric powerset so far since power armour is abit iffy with the way my guy looks lol)
i just made anew female Darkness user called Myst Mistress and she is pretty kick ass aswell so far (though she's only lvl 3 atm)
oh and a cool feature of the game is that the screenshots contain all the build info of the characters in them so once i start the full version i can use the info to remake the characters which is a first for mmo's as far as i can tell.
if anyone gets the full game send me a pm with your heroes name and i'll see about getting a friend request to you in game so we can form a supergroup or something. If it bleeds we can kill it, if not then we can die trying.
