been digging through some old gaming stuff and found rules for map campaign (using armies from 500 to 3000). i'll GM it from a distance (due to a restraining order on Games Workshop rules). the map is only so big (A4 YAH HA HA!) 19 x 35 hexes, it can only hold so many empires (not Empire! Poppy Noob-stockings). but players that wish can be mercenary forces that are part of an empire, and occasionally advise (not dominate) the main player.

anyway i can e-mail or just give you a copy of the rules if you ask me.
